Antarctic Wildlife

Just as a followup to the previous entry, our trip included the opportunity to photograph a variety of wildlife in different settings.  There were Gentoo, Adele and Chinstrap penguins along with Leopard, Weddell and Crabeater seals.  Of course, there were a variety of Antarctic birds everywhere.

It was amazing how you could sit in the snow and the penguins would just walk right by you.  We were careful not to interfere with them in any way but that just wasn't necessary to obtain some great images.  I think I liked the penguins on the icebergs the most.

Here are a few, with the rest in the galleries.
